Privacy policy

Your privacy matters to me.

What is stored when you visit: for security and to protect the site against attacks my server stores your IP address, the time of your visit, the pages you opened and technical details of your browser/device (type, language, approximate country). This data is only used for security, statistics and to keep the site running; it is never sold.

Cookies / local storage: a language cookie, your light/dark choice, and - only if you join Chats - a login cookie. No advertising or tracking cookies are used.

Chats: if you join, your e-mail address (never shown to others), username, profile text and your messages are stored. Public messages are visible to all chat members; private messages only to you and the recipient. Messages can disappear automatically after a time chosen by Sophie. You can ask me to delete your account at any time: sophiehfn.collabs@gmail.com

Donations: the "Help Sophie" button only shows my PayPal address and then sends you to the GoFundMe page of my campaign. Payments are handled by those providers under their own privacy policies.
